In addition to the NRC Academic Network of 26 universities across England, the NRC Training Academy will help us to be a national centre of excellence for world-leading, innovative education and training within the field of rehabilitation.
The NRC Training Academy will be pivotal in upskilling the rehabilitation workforce of the future. At the NRC, innovation and research evidence will inform and shape the educational offer.
Learners will have access to a range of educational opportunities from informal 'lunch and learns', in-person clinical workshops, online research seminars, conferences, MSc modules and PhDs. The opportunities available will evolve as the NRC Training Academy develops, showcasing new courses and innovative technologies as they become available. Training events will be advertised on this website and through NRC social media channels.
The NRC Training Academy will work with academic partners to build flexible opportunities that support clinical academic career development. We will foster a strong learning culture that drives the quality of rehabilitation and the implementation of technology and innovation into clinical practice. These efforts will contribute to tangible improvements in the services that are delivered and the experiences and outcomes for patients.
