Short Courses and CPD

Short courses and continuing professional development

Education and training are vital in developing and maintaining services that meet the needs of patients, staff and communities that we serve.

The NRC will offer a national and international training academy featuring a variety of rehabilitation training which aims to:

  • Provide rehabilitation training to enable current and future clinical staff to deliver world-leading, evidence-based practice.
  • Raise the profile of rehabilitation through delivery of innovative, cutting-edge and modern training and education.

The NRC Training Academy is developing a variety of short courses and CPD offerings across the field of rehabilitation, supporting ongoing learning, career development and optimising patient care through evidence-based practice.

These short courses will be delivered via a variety of platforms including face-to-face, online and on-demand through the NRC platform (currently in development). We will work with a variety of partners including academic HEIs, Integrated health boards (ICBs), NHSE and Royal Societies to deliver training for a range of learners and audiences.

If you are interested in speaking to us about delivering a bespoke short course to your organisation, please contact .
