Members of the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust Board recently enjoyed a visit to the National Rehabilitation Centre, which will become NUH’s newest hospital site when it opens later this year.
The group of Executive and Non-Executive board members were treated to a full tour of the new facility, including presentation featuring the latest updates of the project.
The National Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) is a brand new 70-bed rehab facility which will be run and staffed by NUH. The £105million project is part of the New Hospital Programme and aims to transform rehabilitation in the UK.
The NRC will mainly treat patients based in the East Midlands, but will be the national centre for both Research and Innovation, and Training and Education, in the field of rehabilitation medicine
